Pop Singer-Songwriter Skateland Releases New Track “POSTCARDS!”

Austin-based pop singer-songwriter Skateland has released a new track, titled POSTCARDS! The new single is one we can all relate to, as it talks about the toxic comparison that often takes place when it comes to the internet and social media. Along with the relatable lyrics comes laidback synth melodies that dip into the indie genre, and makes the song so easy to listen and sing along to. Check out the new track below: “Having unprecedented access to the lives of everyone around you (or the highlights at least) is a terrible thingĀ if you really think about it, because it’s the quickest way to become unhappy with your own life or situation. In theory we should be able to celebrate each other’s achievements, but more often than not we end up feeling discontent, unhappy, and restless with our own lives, including our jobs, possessions, life progress, romantic status, our bodies, and even our families,” Dorian Williams II, the man professionally known as Skateland, says about the track.
